Tessa and Drew | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photographer

Posted on October 26, 2008

I had the pleasure of being asked to second shoot at a fantastic wedding by the amazing Melissa of Preserved Photography. We had such a fun time. That girl is hilarious and I will work with her any time she asks!! You can see her sneak peek of the wedding here.

I would like to share a few of my favorites of the day. It was such a gorgeous wedding. I can not stress that enough. The ceremony was held at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, an absolutely beautiful location! The weather was perfect with brilliant skies and fat clouds. I love big, fluffy clouds in photos!! Tessa and Drew had so many wonderful details in their ceremony like poetry, orchestra music, friends and family singing…it was just all so…well, perfect! I’m sure they agree!!

Isn’t that veil lovely! And I loved the little branches in her flowers.

They released doves at the end of the ceremony. It was really fun to watch them fly about in the sky. This little guy was relaxing in a cage during the ceremony.

What to keep an eye out for in the coming up days/weeks | Northwest Arkansas Photographer

Posted on October 26, 2008

I have two boudoir sessions waiting to be blogged as well as a wedding. They will be posted ASAP. In fact, I might have the wedding up later today!! I really hope so because this was SUCH a gorgeous wedding. The bride was breath-taking, the groom was fun and the day was perfect. I have been dying to share some images!!

I’m waiting for the final approval for one of the boudoir sessions, but it is awesome! I can’t wait to show off the photos! I’m putting the finishing touches on the 2nd boudoir before they are sent off for approval, so that should be up sometime within the week. It was also a rocking session. She had such hot eyes. :)

Tomorrow is the big day that my husband and I take belated engagement/couple photos to celebrate our upcoming five year anniversary! I am SO excited. My talented and lovely sister-in-law Audrey is the one taking our photos. I’m going to be taking couple photos of her and my brother along with some fun family photos of them with my niece. We’re making a day of it and hope to get just a ton of fantastic photos of everyone! Did I mention how excited I am?!! Be prepared to see some of those images very soon. And I’m really hoping that we get a good photo that I can use in my About Me section. You know, that section that is STILL under construction. Geesh. A great photo is all that is really lacking from the section so hopefully tomorrow will help take care of that! (No pressure or anything, Audrey! hahah)

So, please, be patient with me and I’ll have some new eye candy up to see soon. Thank you guys so much.

My Sweet Girls | Northwest Arkansas Children Photographer

I took advantage of a recent beautiful day by dressing up my girls and taking their photos. It was so funny to watch the baby play with leaves! She was in love.

Here is just a little peek into our fun day.

I couldn’t resist throwing this up even though I have three other sessions in the queue to be blogged. And this was actually a trial run of the clothes that I have picked up for our family session tomorrow, so when I show you those photos, just pretend you’ve never seen the clothes before! Hahah! I should have waited to post this, but come on! They are soo cute. I wish their brother would have been here that day so I could have a photo with all three of them!!

Jecca and Belly | Northwest Arkansas Maternity Photographer

Posted on October 17, 2008

I’ve been sooo busy and really need to update this blog! I have so many exciting sessions to share. I love all of the great people I’ve been able to capture with my camera lately and this session is no exception.

Jecca and her husband Harley for six years and my husband has known then for many more years. They are very dear to us and I’m so happy I was able to do a maternity session with Jecca. It is very exciting because what was supposed to be a third and final pregnancy to complete their family has turned into double the fun! Yep, twins! Does she not look just fantastic for carrying two little guys? And she is in her third trimester! Amazing, I know. I wish my belly was as pretty during my pregnancies!!

I wanted to share a few of my favorites from the session. It was a really fun day and I think we got some gorgeous images. :)

{I do} Angel and Eric | Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photographer

Posted on October 1, 2008

Can taking photos of this couple get any better? They’ve proved to be some of my best models!

Eric and Angel had a very intimate ceremony beneath a lovely gazebo in a gorgeous park this weekend. Fun fact: it was the same gazebo where my husband and I eloped almost five years ago! This wedding brought back wonderful memories of our own small wedding and I have now made plans for photographs of us to celebrate our anniversary! I’m sure there will be more details in another post because I’m very excited about it!

A bit of time together before the ceremony. Can’t you just feel the love!!

This was one of the sweetest things that I’ve ever seen. He whispered the last part of his vows to her. Something about whispering words for her and only her made me melt. I love it!

Eric read vows to Angel’s two beautiful boys. His words promising to be there for them were so touching. I was even tearing up at this point!!

Eric and Angel, again I thank you for letting me be a part of such a special day. It was wonderful, you guys were gorgeous, and the boys were beautiful. You two are truly special.
