Last Minute Wedding Special

I have a few remaining dates available in July and August for weddings. I adore weddings and would love to be able to photograph all my available dates before September, so I decided to throw together a little Last Minute Wedding package, one for both eight hour and under four hour weddings. Happy Father’s Day | Northwest Arkansas Family Photographer

I would like to take a little time out today to call attention to two of the best daddies that I know. One, of course, is my own fantastic dad, and the other is my own fantastic husband!

My dad is tough. He used to ride bulls in his youth, which is pretty cool, and now works with all sorts of heavy equipment. The kids love the fact that Papa knows his way around bulldozers and diggers. What’s even better is on the rare occasions he’s had to bring some up to the house for various projects! They go nuts.

Daddy works hard for his family, has always taken time to do whatever is needed for his girls, and I totally love him for it.

Here is a snapshot I have of my father and step-mom that I took last year. I would love to have more photos of him, but that might take some persuading!

And now for the other father in my life, my husband, John. My son was four when John came into our lives. I was initially worried about how their relationship might develop, but it was needless worrying. John couldn’t love Blaze any more than he does now, even if he was his biological son. That makes me very happy. He is also a fantastic father to our two daughters, and I can’t wait to see him with the newest baby, whenever he or she arrives.

Not only is he a good daddy and husband, but he also lets me use him as a model from time to time, like when I’m wanting to experiment with Off Camera Flash. Yes, my husband has a TON of tattoos. Meow!

A Whole Lotta Hair!! | Northwest Arkansas Newborn Photographer

There isn’t much that is better than a sweet, sweet baby. I had the pleasure of spending a fun evening with this sweet baby and her wonderful parents. I adore this couple and am so happy that they have now added a darling baby girl to their little family. And just check out all that hair! It was the softest hair, too. I’m always amazed by little babies with tons of hair as my own babies are always little baldies well past their first year. In fact, my youngest is 18 months and just now showing wee wisps of hair.

Look at the cute little bumble bee bum!

Isn’t this cute? I think so. This was one of those photos where I wasn’t quite ready for such great emotion and my settings were just a wee bit off, hence the slight softness, but I still think it is great.

And I’ll leave you too awwww over this precious little face. This one makes my heart melt. She looks so sweet and comfy.

Kicking off the Summer | Northwest Arkansas Lifestyle Photographer

While I really enjoy the cooler spring and fall months, there is just something exciting and wonderful about the summer, even with all of the heat! The kids are out of school, vacation is coming up, and the light wants to stay out forever! It’s also a time for lots of fun outdoor activities. We’re determined to be able to go camping and/or canoeing at least once this summer since we weren’t able to last year. John and I used to go all the time before the kids, and now we look forward to being able to do it as a family. Heat and outdoors goes well with pregnancy, right? Think using the pregnancy card will convince John that we HAVE to use a site with electricity? This is usually a camping no no in his book.

I’m getting a little off subject. To celebrate the summer, I’m offering Summer mini-sessions! These half hour sessions will include 10-15 proofs to choose from and will include either a mounted 11×14 print OR two 5x7s and an 8×10 for $130.
